The @QuillAI_Bot Telegram bot
Transcription right inside Telegram: how to link your account to the web version, and when the bot is more convenient than the site.
The @QuillAI_Bot bot
QuillAI has a Telegram bot, @QuillAI_Bot: send it a voice message, an audio or video file, or a YouTube link, and you'll get a transcript right in the chat within a couple of minutes.
Linking your account
Open settings
On the website, go to Settings → the Telegram section.
Click "Link Telegram"
The service generates a personal link to the bot to finish linking.
Open the bot and press Start
The link opens @QuillAI_Bot with a ready-made linking code — press "Start" in Telegram and the accounts connect.
Once linked, recordings sync between the bot and the web app: whatever you send in Telegram shows up in "Inbox" on the website, and vice versa.
What the bot can do
- Voice messages and audio files — the transcript comes back as text in the same chat.
- Video, including clips forwarded from other chats.
- Links to YouTube and similar services — no need to download anything to your phone.
- Works in both direct messages and groups the bot has been added to.
The bot sends back the finished text as a chat message, while the full version — with timestamps, a table of contents, and an AI chat for that recording — lives in the app: once accounts are linked, it's one tap away.
Where each one is more convenient
The bot is great for quick transcription on the go — forward a voice message, drop in a link — without opening a browser. The web app and desktop version are more convenient for organizing: sorting recordings into projects, asking the AI chat questions across your whole knowledge base, connecting MCP to Claude or Cursor, exporting files, and sharing public links.
The bot recognizes the same 98+ languages as the web version, including automatic language detection — there's nothing extra to configure.
Invite through the bot
Your personal referral link to the bot earns bonus minutes for both you and the friend who tries the service through it — grab it from the "Invite friends" section on the website. Processing in the bot takes the same amount of time as on the website: anywhere from a couple of minutes for a short voice message to roughly the length of the file for a long video.
