AI chat over your knowledge base
Chat scopes — whole knowledge base, project, or a single recording — cited quotes, workspace memory, and the "Triage" queue.
Three levels of question
You can ask the knowledge base chat at three levels: "Whole base" — across every project and recording in the workspace, "Project" — just one project, and "Recording" — a single transcript. The scope switcher sits above the input field — pick the narrowest scope that fits; the answer will be more precise.
Answers with quotes
Wherever possible, the AI's answer is backed by an actual quote from the transcript, so you can see exactly where a fact came from. That lets you quickly verify an answer and jump to the source instead of just trusting the AI. Every answer carries a reminder that AI responses can contain mistakes — the quotes make that easy to double-check.
Past conversations are saved in a list on the left — you can search them, reopen one, or delete it once you no longer need it. The more specific a question is — with names, dates, or a project name — the more precise the answer will be.
Workspace and project memory
Beyond the recordings themselves, both the workspace and each project have "Memory" — notes the AI maintains on its own: key people and roles, a glossary of terms, naming conventions, and signals used to auto-route new recordings into projects. Memory can be edited manually, has a change history, and can be rolled back to a previous version.
"Triage"
The "Triage" section is a queue of things that need your attention — mentions of people and entities the AI couldn't confidently link to anyone. When the queue is empty, the interface simply says "All triaged".
Ready-made prompts
You can switch the scope to "Project" or "Recording" mid-conversation — a popup lets you pick the project or recording you need without starting a new chat.
Not sure where to start? There are preset prompts right under the input field:
- "What did we discuss this week?"
- "Status of all projects"
- "Open questions"
- "What did each participant commit to?"
By the way
You can ask the same questions of your knowledge base directly from Claude or Cursor via MCP — see the MCP setup article for details.
